90,360. This is the average number of hours a person works in their lifetime. And in case you’ve lost count, we only get one of those. Many of us jump on the wheel, make a dollar, pay the bills, get through the week, dread Monday morning. Repeat. 

But what if life didn’t have to be that way? 

Bigger than a fear of failing is our fear of spending a lifetime, our only lifetime, doing a job that is just “meh.” It is time to sever ties with our current life’s path and create a new one. Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Hell yes. 

WHAT’S WITH THE NAME?

The name “Severance” is a nod to our head brewer, Scott, leaving a long-held corporate job and essentially creating his own “severance package” in the form of a brewery.

At Severance, we applaud the risk-takers who are willing to “sever ties” in their own life—those willing to pursue a dream or make a big, scary, or necessary change in order to shift the course of their life for the better.
