Brace yourselves...the Oktoberfests are tapping and being placed upon shelves. Since we like to do things a little differently around here, we created a version of this popular beer style that has a special twist with a hint of smoke! 

Smōktoberfest, our smoked märzen lager, will be returning this Saturday, August 15 at Noon with a beer poking starting at 6 PM! Available on tap and soon to be at area retailers in 16oz 4 packs.

Um, what the heck is a “beer poking”?!

"Bierstacheln is a traditional technique where a hot metal poker is plunged into a beer, usually a dark or malty one. This process caramelizes the beer's sugars, creating a richer, smoother, and slightly sweeter flavor with a warm, frothy head. The heat from the poker also adds a smoky or toasty character to the beer."
