How does light provide energy for life on Earth? How do we know how far away stars and planets are? How much energy is in a beam of light and what does that say about how it is produced and what it can do? How does distance affect brightness? What chemicals are in the clouds of Jupiter and stars? How do we begin to answer some of these questions?
Join us as we explore how light from stars and other sources change things and provides clues to the building blocks of the universe and how it works! This presentation by SDSU faculty Matt Miller, Larry Browning, and Sara Madsen will be held at Severance Brewing on Sept. 10. No previous science knowledge required, just curiosity!
