Dr. Marty Draper, a plant pathologist and integrated pest management specialist with 40+ years of experience in biosecurity, will present about history, biology, and threats to the human civilization yesterday, today, and tomorrow due to plant diseases.
Dr. Draper is a university emeritus professor at Kansas State and was previously on the faculty at NDSU and SDSU. As a USDA official, he led plant pathology research and extension grant programs and oversight for the National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
